Whether you are a regular at the Fox Theatre or just looking to try something new, this class has something for everyone! Discover and discuss musicals both old and new, find out what makes them successful, and join Music Teacher Matt Preacher for a fun and immersive class you won’t soon forget. No musical experience is necessary, just an interest and desire to learn more about the genre. Register for one week or all three as each week will dive deep into different musicals! This course gives students the opportunities to get an overview of the sixth grade curriculum, learn expectations, meet new sixth graders, talk with current middle school students, work on communication skills and much more.Please note: This class is part of the Parkway Summer School program and is only open to students who attend Parkway schools and all other students living within the district. This class is open to any Parkway students attending any Parkway Middle School during the 24-25 school year. While we might not have the exact recipes, we would put our recipes against theirs in a taste test anyday! from secret sauces to buttery biscuits skip the drive through and come cook with us! Lego Masters | 12:45-4:00 p.m. | Grades 6-8 | Parkway West Middle School | $125 A new challenge each day! Put yourself up against the competition and get ready to create. From timed challenges to design challenges you will put your building skills to the test with both group and individual challenges throughout the week. If you like to build, create, and compete this camp has something for you! Dungeons and Dragons for Beginners | 12:45-4:00 p.m. | Grades 6-8 | Parkway West Middle School | $125 Dungeons and Dragons is a fun and exciting role playing game that immerses you into a world of heros, villains, creatures, and challenges. Meet new teammates and get ready to explore this exciting new world! No experience necessary, we will teach you everything you need to know from building a character to immersing yourself in role playing and more. From learning how to play to enjoying a short campaign, this camp has everything you need to start your lifelong hobby with D&D! Transportation is not available for Enrichment classes INCLUDING the Friday morning only option.
